The Platform can give advice in the definition of the nature and dimension of the sample set that conforms each metabolomic study to be performed with the aim to obtain sound and statistically meaningful results.

The objective of the Metabolomics Platform is to work as an integrative facility, being a consulting site that gets fully involved in the metabolomics-related experiments proposed by the groups. Our collaborations are initiated defining goals, dimension and characteristics of the sample set, as well as experimental design. Later on, the raw data is processed by our team and we get involved in the interpretation of the results, delivering sound, significant and useful clinical conclusions for the different research groups.
